Salary - £40,405.61 + 30% shift allowance

What you need to know about the role
Our Roll Lathe Shop at the Skinningrove plant has a range of CNC Machines for turning and re-dressing rolls.
Health and safety is the number one priority on site and all HS&E requirements must be complied with. You will be required to participate in all team activities including utilising CNC machining skills to achieve the quality requirements of the process, along with slinging and crane driving.
You must be able to react to process, quality and safety issues as they arise and utilise the knowledge, experience and skills to ensure there is no interruption to the manufacturing process. Operating flexibly and safely within the team you will carry out activities under the direction of the Team Leader within your area of capability, competence and training.
What we need to know about you
You must be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant machining trade or have served a recognised apprenticeship*.
Ideally, you will have workshop machining experience within a commercial or heavy engineering environment and essential to the role is the ability to adapt to new equipment across a range of control systems. You must be flexible, have a desire to learn and develop.
