Job purpose: To provide support to maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment while ensuring the facility can consistently deliver outputs that meet operational goals and performance standards. Holding overall responsibility for managing manufacturing operations, ensuring best practices are applied consistently across all activities. Responsible for reviewing production schedules and processing orders to determine inventory needs, staffing requirements, work methods, and task allocation, while considering budget constraints and timelines. Overseeing warehousing, logistics, and compliance functions to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)
- Accountable for safety and quality management, as well as delivery performance within the Production Departments.
- Identify process inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, product quality, and cost performance.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance across all areas of responsibility.
- Maintain a strong understanding of product lines and services within the operational area.
- Implement and maintain operational systems to drive continuous process improvements
- Lead the Production Team to achieve required outputs and targets.
- Monitor and drive performance through KPIs and operational metrics.
- Assist with maximising production capacity by establishing, adjusting, and monitoring schedules aligned with master production plans.
- Ensuring efficient procurement, production planning, inventory management.
- Oversee warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers in conjunction with commercial team.
- Support the optimisation of logistics costs improving delivery performance to meet customer demand while optimising costs and maintaining quality standards
- Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts and NIM calls.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to evaluate future opportunities and align strategic direction, ensuring a cohesive approach to business growth.
- Manage the scheduling of both new and aftermarket product manufacturing to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Apply where applicable knowledge of business practices, including strategic planning, budgeting, and workforce planning.
- Lead, coach, and develop employees to enhance performance, build capability, and support succession planning.
- Undertake additional duties as required by the Company.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as directed by the Vice President, Subsea Operations.

- Ensure the facility is a safe and hazard-free working environment and that all HSE related policies are complied with.
- Promote and adhere to health and safety procedures and initiatives throughout the facility.
Quality Management
- Promote all internal and relevant external quality procedures and regulations.
- Maintain quality assurance.
Operations & Production
- Manage production output and budgeting goals whilst ensuring quality and operating profit objectives are achieved.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring on-time delivery and production output.
- Oversee production and deputise for Production Manager when required.
- Oversee the Warehousing department and review work practices as required.
- Maintain a degree of flexibility to accommodate changes in operational priorities.
Supply Chain & Procurement
- Manage sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs.
Continuous Improvement
- Create and read value stream maps to support continuous improvement.
People & Communication
- Develop and maintain a communication plan within the facility in order to ensure a positive and productive working environment.
- Input to 9 Box succession and capability planning within reporting functions.

Education/Qualifications (essential):
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
