An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Team to support the business by assisting in the preparation of detailed financial and management information.

Summary of responsibilities:
- Supporting the Accountant with preparation of regular reporting.
- Assist with the year-end audit.
- Prepare and issue customer pricing updates.
- Month end reporting for Selling, General and Admin expenses and corresponding Balance Sheet accounts to deadlines.
- Supporting with Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Support AR clerk with bank reconciliations.
- Review and reconcile expenses on company credit cards.
- Raise manual invoices and credit notes where necessary.
- Support the Finance Director and Accountant with Fixed Assets reconciliation, calculation and booking of depreciation.
- Support in the preparation and submission of statutory financial accounts.
- Processing all accounts payable transactions.
- Liaising with operational staff to ensure invoices are correctly authorised/ matched.
- Communicating with suppliers to ensure query resolution.
- Prepare and initiate payment runs in accordance with supplier terms.
- Conduct periodic reviews of the aged creditors listing.
- Supplier account reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to maintain confidential information.
- Suitable educational qualifications i.e. degree in finance or accounting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly on all levels both verbally and in writing.
- High energy and urgency with high attention to detail.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with customers.
- Computer literate with relevant ERP experience and competent knowledge of MS Excel.
- Previous experience within the manufacturing sector preferred.
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
