As a trusted leader in commercial property and grounds maintenance, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional standards for our clients' business and retail spaces.

Due to the expansion of our landscaping division, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative to work as part of a team in and around the Northampton NN6 area.

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks that help bring our clients' outdoor visions to life. From planting and turfing to spraying and mulching, no two days are the same!

Key Responsibilities:

Perform landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, weeding, mulching, and irrigation
Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
Conducting regular inspections of grounds and report any potential on-site hazards or equipment malfunction and take corrective actions as needed.
Ensuring that you observe safety procedures and use safe working practices specifically regarding COSHH and Risk Assessments, reporting accidents and near misses to your line manager.
Contributing to a positive team dynamic, building productive and professional relationships with team members, other employees, managers, clients, and external agencies.
Providing support in the completion of any necessary documentation or reports, such as timesheets or site condition updates, as needed.

What we're looking for:

Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience
Plant knowledge and other tickets an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to display a positive and can-do attitude
Strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Physically fit and able to lift, dig, and carry materials
A valid driver's licence essential
PA1/6 spray licence desirable
