Overview
Jordan Road Surfacing are looking for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Administrator to join our team at our Boughton Industrial Estate site.
This is a varied administration role within a busy operational environment, ideal for someone who enjoys being organised, working with people, and keeping things running smoothly day to day.
You’ll play an important part in the daily running of the site by accurately recording vehicle weights, processing documentation, supporting compliance records, and communicating with drivers, customers, and colleagues.
Duties
- Accurately weighing vehicles in and out of site
- Checking and approving incoming materials in line with site permits and waste regulations
- Processing tickets, transfer notes, and site documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and data entry systems
- Answering calls and dealing with customer and driver enquiries
- Supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance administration
- Filing, scanning, and checking paperwork
- Assisting with invoicing and general office administration
- Monitoring incoming loads in line with site procedures and regulations
- Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns where required
- Provide general administrative support.
Experience
- Previous administration experience
- Good IT and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and organised approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn company systems and site procedures
Experience within transport, logistics, construction, recycling, or waste management would be an advantage, but is not essential.
