Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bricklayers Labourer to support our construction team on various projects. The successful candidate will assist with masonry and building tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards. This role offers valuable experience in the construction industry, with opportunities to develop a broad range of skills including bricklaying and masonry.

Driving license needed or ability to reach a pickup point for early starts

Duties

Assist bricklayers with preparing materials and setting up work sites
Handle hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment safely and efficiently
Mix mortar and carry bricks or blocks to designated areas
Support with the installation of bricks, blocks, and other masonry elements
Assist with general site maintenance, including cleaning and organising tools and materials
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment

Experience

Previous experience working with hand tools, power tools, or in masonry is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of bricklaying is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour for extended periods
Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training opportunities within the construction sector

Pay: £100.00-£140.00 per day
