About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Goods In & Purchasing Administrator to help keep our inbound supply chain running smoothly. This role is key to ensuring stock arrives on time, documentation is accurate, and communication flows effectively across teams.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating inbound deliveries, booking times, confirming ETAs, and managing updates.
- Maintaining the daily Goods In Schedule and working closely with the Warehouse Team to balance capacity.
- Checking delivery documentation and ensuring accurate records in Business Central.
- Updating Expected Receipt Dates and raising warehouse receipts.
- Managing UK supplier POs, delivery notes, shortages, and OTIF data.
- Tracking China POs, freight bookings, ETD/ETA, and vessel arrivals.
- Liaising with freight forwarders and chasing Bills of Lading/Sea Waybills.
- Resolving delivery discrepancies and ensuring Accounts receives all required documents.
- Providing stock and lead‑time updates to Sales and issuing weekly PO status reports.
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
- Experience in logistics or supply chain, purchasing, or inbound coordination.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (Business Central preferred).
- Understanding of UK and international shipping documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator able to work cross‑functionally.
- Competent in Excel and general office systems.
- Able to negotiate and resolve delivery issues professionally.
