Patient Support Team Advisor

We are seeking a Patient Support Team Advisor to join our dynamic and evolving team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering excellent patient care within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.

About the Role

As a Patient Support Team Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for patients, supporting them in accessing our services via telephone, online systems, and face-to-face interactions. You will also carry out essential administrative duties to support patient care pathways.

This is a varied and expanding role, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and respond to patient enquiries
Contact patients to arrange appointments following clinical triage
Welcome patients into the practice in a professional and timely manner
Support patients in accessing services or completing enquiry forms
Triage patients to appropriate departments or services
Process administrative tasks and clinician requests within set timeframes
Handle medical records and clinical correspondence accurately and confidentially
Ensure patients receive appropriate follow-up care and information

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Approachable, enthusiastic, and motivated
A strong team player with excellent communication skills
Empathetic and understanding of patients’ needs
Able to maintain strict confidentiality
Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently

Training & Development

Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident using our systems and understand practice processes.

Working Pattern

We offer a four-day working week (subject to change), with example shift patterns including:

Option 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday (08:00–18:30), Wednesday (08:00–18:00), Thursday off
Option 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (08:00–18:30), Thursday (08:00–18:00), Friday off

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,623.00 per year
