We are seeking a reliable, flexible and animal-loving individual to join our Southsea team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible weekday work helping to support our established pet care team with holiday cover, cat visits, puppy visits and occasional additional pet care services.

Full training and shadowing will be provided to help you feel confident and supported within the role.
Responsibilities:
Pet Visits: Carry out cat visits and puppy visits, ensuring pets receive excellent care, companionship, feeding, cleaning and attention whilst their owners are away.
Holiday & Team Cover: Provide flexible support for our Southsea team during holidays, sickness and busy periods.
Transportation: Use your own large vehicle to travel between customer homes and transport pets where required.
Compassionate Care: Provide attentive, reliable and loving care to all pets in line with company standards.
Communication: Maintain professional and timely communication with customers and management team, providing updates and reporting any concerns promptly.
Safety & Welfare: Always prioritise the safety, wellbeing and comfort of pets in your care.
Schedule Management: Ensure punctuality and reliability when attending scheduled visits and appointments.
Additional Services: Opportunity to provide daycare and boarding services for suitable applicants.
Requirements:
YOU MUST be available Monday to Friday for daytime availability/flexible cover.
YOU MUST live within the Southsea or surrounding Portsmouth area.
A valid driving licence and access to a large vehicle is essential.
A genuine love of animals and confidence caring for a variety of pets.
Reliability, flexibility and excellent time management skills.
Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly approach with customers.
Previous animal care experience is beneficial but not essential for the right person.

You must have a suitable home environment and secure garden, with the ability to meet local licensing requirements where applicable.
Availability:
PART TIME position - weekly hours are not guaranteed, as workload will vary in line with customer demand, bookings and cancellations.
Monday to Friday daytime availability is essential.
Additional work and opportunities may become available over time.
Pay: £500.00-£1,000.00 per month
