Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and clients.

This is a part time role 2-3 days a week, plus holiday cover of 4-5 days a week and flexibility due to the seasonal nature of the business, which is busy during the winter and quieter during the summer.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up to date.
Manage office correspondence, including emails and phone calls, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Maintain an organised filing system for both electronic and paper documents.
Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including sales and purchase invoices.
Provide clerical support to various departments as needed, ensuring all administrative functions are executed smoothly.
Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary to maintain stock levels.
Support the team with scheduling meetings and managing calendars effectively.

Skills

Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
Strong computer skills, particularly in Xero and Excel.
Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated administrative skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professionalism.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with general office procedures and equipment.

Working Hours

Office Hours are 9.00 -5.00, however we are flexible and can accommodate a late start and/or early finish.
2-3 days a week, to include a Friday, depending on hours agreed.
We are flexible on the hours, however will need additional cover during busy periods and to provide holiday cover.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
