Nourish is not simply a technology company; we are a digital partner for the social and health care sector rooted in human connections, with the person being supported at its core. We offer a range of co-produced software solutions tailored to the unique challenges of care, while still being flexible enough to meet the specific needs of each individual service we work with.
We are at an exciting stage of growth. While we are the market leader, we remain ambitious and dedicated to our mission. We continue to revolutionise the sector by investing in our platform and our incredible employees who make this impact possible.
We are looking for an exceptional, seasoned product leader to join our Product Leadership Team. This role is far more than a traditional product management position; it is the vital link between our product strategy, deep customer insight, and thought leadership in a critical segment of the social care market. You will be responsible for a major segment of our product portfolio and the mentorship of a team of Product Managers.
Crucially, beyond traditional product management requirements, you will become the domain expert and thought leader for a specific care type within the business, shaping not just our products but our entire commercial, marketing, and market-facing strategy for our products within that domain.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a leader with world-class product taste, judgment, boundless curiosity, and the drive to make a difference in a sector that makes a real difference in peoples’ lives every day.
Product Strategy & Execution (The "Product" Responsibilities)
Portfolio Ownership: Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a defined subset of the company's product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the overall company vision and desired business outcomes.
Team Empowerment: Directly manage, coach, and mentor a team of high-performing Product Managers, fostering a culture of curiosity, rapid learning, and outcome-oriented delivery consistent with a product operating model.
Product Taste & Judgment: Provide rigorous product leadership, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, user experience, and technical integrity are met across your portfolio.
Lifecycle Management: Support the product development lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery. Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing leadership along with commercial teams to ensure speed, continuity, and success throughout the full lifecycle.
Impact Tracking & Articulation: Define the metrics, create a robust tracking system, and own the narrative of product impact for the business, our customers, and for better outcomes of those we ultimately serve, those that require some additional support to live their best lives.
Domain Expertise & Thought Leadership (The "Domain" Responsibilities)
Customer & Market Insight: Rapidly develop a deep, expert understanding of the operational, regulatory, and commercial challenges faced by our customers within your specific care domain.
Internal Domain Voice: Act as the primary internal authority on your care domain, advising business leadership on market trends, competitive landscape, and strategic opportunities.
External Thought Leadership: Build a compelling external voice for the company in your domain. This includes speaking at industry events, publishing insights, and engaging directly with key industry stakeholders and customers to influence and shape the market perception of our company.
Go-to-Market Alignment: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Customer Success, and Professional Services to translate deep domain understanding into compelling value propositions, effective sales enablement, streamlined onboarding programmes, and successful market entry strategies.
A Growth Mindset: While specific domain knowledge in UK social care is not required (although a plus), an intense curiosity, a genuine desire to learn from customers, and the ability to quickly develop deep, defensible expertise in a new, complex sector are critical.
Operating Model Alignment: Deep familiarity with modern product practices, including product discovery, continuous delivery, and the principles of empowered product teams.
