Full job description

Envases UK is a manufacturing company that has been operating out of Port Talbot since 1993 which has experienced steady and sustained growth based on a combination of global blue chip and smaller bespoke customer bases. Envases UK is part of the Envases group, which also incorporates a sister Company in Bilbao, Spain. The site at Port Talbot is a "state of the art"  facility in which Envases manufactures aluminum aerosol containers that are used in personal care, healthcare and pharmaceutical products.

Envases strives for excellence in its operations and support functions in order to service the core Blue Chip customers that form a significant portion of its business. Due to this Envases has created a new role and is seeking to employ a Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand existing processes and updating to fit with our new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
Improve and develop existing reporting routine.
Take an active part in designing how the new ERP will operate.
Develop new reporting processes in ERP.
Design and implement Budgeting and Forecasting routines in ERP.
Train and coach existing team members on new ways of working in ERP.
Work with the existing Finance team to streamline financial reporting timetables.
Work with wider teams develop and improve KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting & accuracy.
Help coach and develop existing team members.
Take an active part within the wider Finance team during busy periods e.g. year end.
Ad-hoc reconciliations and analysis.

Knowledge and Skills:

ACCA / CIMA / ACA or QBE.
Experience of working in a FMCG Manufacturing environment.
Experience of implementing new IT systems & processes.
Experience of change management.
Good IT Skills.
Logical thinking and takes pride in work.
Contributes to Team.
