Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Porter to provide exceptional guest services and ensure the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, a professional demeanour, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with discretion and efficiency. Multilingual abilities and previous hotel experience are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and overall service quality.

Duties

Welcome and assist guests arriving during night hours, ensuring a warm and professional first impression
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, maintaining accurate records
Respond promptly to guest requests, enquiries, and concerns throughout the night shift
Monitor security systems and conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of reception areas and public spaces during your shift
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues or special requests
Keep detailed logs of activities, incidents, and maintenance needs during overnight hours
Assist with administrative tasks such as managing reservations or updating guest information as required

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly advantageous for effective communication with diverse guests
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and discretion
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of safety and service
Flexibility to work overnight hours, including weekends and public holidays if necessary
Knowledge of security procedures and basic administrative tasks is beneficial
