We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Village Vets & Meadowbank, Liverpool Road on a full-time basis.

Our practice offers a varied first opinion caseload, providing a great opportunity for nurses to be involved in all aspects of clinical care. This is an ideal role for a motivated RVN looking to develop their skills within a busy and rewarding environment.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in all aspects of nursing, including inpatient care, surgical assistance, anaesthesia monitoring, recovery, and nurse consultations. You will also play a key role in supporting preventative healthcare and maintaining excellent communication with clients.
This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week across a 4-day working week, including a share of weekends and/or out-of-hours duties.
General responsibilities include:
- Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied caseload
- Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
- Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
- Run nurse-led clinics and support client education and preventative healthcare
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
