We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team here at Newbank Garden Centre. Based at our site based in Radcliffe, this role will mainly involve processing of stock, checking off deliveries and inputting them onto our stock system. Discrepancies and issues will need to be dealt with and noted to the office team. This role will mainly cover our home interiors, gift shops and Christmas stock, it will not be dealing with gardening, furniture and plants, although the applicant may have to diversify to cover holidays and absence occasionally.
Daily tasks will involve:
· Unloading and processing of deliveries
· Checking off delivery notes
· Replenishing stock
· Pricing new items
· Providing excellent customer service
· Inputting deliveries using our epos system
· Medium to heavy lifting will be required
The successful candidate should possess the following:
· Strong communication skills
· Organised and efficient
· Enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude
· Retail experience is preferable, although not essential
Although the role will mainly be working in our gift, clothing, food & home interiors departments, at various peak trading times throughout the year you will be required to work in other areas of the business.
This is a full time position, where the successful candidate will be expected to work alternate weekends and some Bank Holidays throughout the year, along with seasonal late nights at peak trading periods, such as Christmas.
