The Role
As a Commercial Leasing Consultant, you'll be responsible for helping business customers source and fund the right commercial vehicles for their operations. You'll manage enquiries from initial contact through to vehicle delivery, providing expert advice and delivering an outstanding customer experience throughout the process.
Working with sole traders, SMEs, and larger fleet customers, you'll build strong relationships, understand business requirements, and provide tailored vehicle and funding solutions across a wide range of commercial vehicles and manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing inbound and outbound enquiries from business customers.
- Building relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable commercial vehicle solutions.
- Providing tailored leasing and funding quotations across a range of vans, pickups, and commercial vehicles.
- Following up opportunities and maintaining regular communication throughout the sales journey.
- Converting enquiries into orders through a consultative sales approach.
- Developing and maintaining a pipeline of business customers.
- Liaising with suppliers, funders, and internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintaining accurate records and pipeline management through CRM systems.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Delivering exceptional customer service from enquiry through to vehicle handover.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in vehicle leasing, commercial vehicle sales, automotive sales, or a customer-facing sales role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, target-driven attitude with a passion for delivering results.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- Experience working with business customers would be advantageous.
