The Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Administration Assistant to join our close-knit Business Development Team.
This role will primarily involve preparing customer quotations, setting up and maintaining accounts, supporting retention activities, and ensuring all customer information and external systems are kept accurate and up to date. The successful candidate will also assist with general customer enquiries and administrative tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting customer retention processes
Setting up and maintaining new customer accounts
Preparing and issuing quotations for prospective and existing customers in a timely manner
Completing sales review administration tasks
Responding to customer enquiries professionally and efficiently via email
Resolving customer queries while delivering excellent customer service
Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation
Updating external systems for incoming and outgoing customers
Key Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confident IT skills, including:
o Microsoft Excel
o Microsoft Word
o Microsoft Outlook
o CRM systems
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a sales administration or customer service role
- Experience working with CRM systems and data management
- Experience within utilities or a regulated industry environment

What You’ll Receive
Starting salary of £13,717.60 per annum
20 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year up to 25 days, plus Scottish Bank Holidays
