McVeigh Parker Farm and Fencing Suppliers have a dual role for an enthusiastic person.
We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our sales department as a Transport Planner and Sales back up.
This role will be primarily focused on the coordination and planning of deliveries to our customers, managing vehicle maintenance bookings, monitoring and responsible for downloading and recording drivers tachograph details. Thereafter you will be trained and assist in joining the sales team, answering phones. You will be based at our Cambridge branch and you will work closely with sales team and manager.
CPC and tachograph experience and knowledge is essential.
The ideal candidate should have good local knowledge in order to maximise the drivers routes, a good understanding of driving hours and WTD ensuring the drivers and vehicles stay compliant.
This is a varied role with no two days being the same, it would suit anyone with a positive can do attitude and excellent work ethic. The package will be offered subject to your experience and after 12 months you will be eligible for the excellent Company Profit Share scheme.
