Full job description

HGV Fitter/Mechanic

T. Richard Jones Ltd have a vacancy for a HGV Fitter/Mechanic.

We carry a comprehensive fleet of vehicles required for our diverse activities and rarely hire vehicles in.

As a HGV Fitter/Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our fleet is kept in working order, with efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of vehicles within the TRJ fleet. You will be responsible for identifying and repairing any faults or damage to equipment, accurately updating service records.

Successful Applicants should demonstrate the following:

Proven experience working as a HGV mechanic/fitter role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served.
Knowledge of DVSA regulations and compliance.
Sound and current knowledge of HGV and associated equipment maintenance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Good record keeping practices.
A valid driving license is required.
