Join our independent workshop as an All-Round Car Mechanic—Monday to Friday with guaranteed weekly pay!We are an independent car dealership in Gloucester Central hiring a reliable, self-sufficient Automotive Technician to run our 2-ramp workshop. This role offers a steady, Monday-to-Friday schedule maintaining our internal retail stock, with guaranteed weekly pay sent directly to your account every Friday at 4:00 PM. Job Details

Job Title: All-Round Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Gloucester Central (GL1)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (No weekends)
Salary: £120.00 per day (£600.00 per week)
Pay Frequency: Paid weekly every Friday at 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Stock Maintenance: Inspect, service, and prepare dealership vehicles for the retail forecourt.
MOT Preparation: Diagnose mechanical faults and complete necessary repairs to ensure cars pass MOT tests.
Workshop Autonomy: Work independently to manage the day-to-day operations of our 2-ramp setup.
General Repairs: Handle all-round mechanical tasks, including brakes, suspension, diagnostics, and light structural welding.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: Strong background as an all-round, competent mechanic who can work without supervision.
Welding Skills: Proficiency in welding is highly preferred.
License: Full UK driving license is required to move vehicles around the site.
Reliability: Punctual, organized, and capable of managing your own daily workflow.
