Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering specialised physiotherapy services, focusing on musculoskeletal conditions across diverse patient populations. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal disorders, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
- Develop personalised treatment plans based on thorough understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobilisation techniques.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment programmes accordingly to optimise recovery.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams such as doctors, occupational therapists, and sports specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies.
- Provide guidance and education to patients regarding injury prevention, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Supervise junior staff or interns as required, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Proven hospital experience working within a musculoskeletal or related clinical setting.
- Demonstrable expertise in paediatrics is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to musculoskeletal health.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to individual needs.
- Relevant qualification in physiotherapy recognised by the appropriate professional body.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent regulatory authority.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases efficiently.

Pay: £29,683.76-£50,603.30 per year
