Delivery Driver / Factory Operative (Employed)
12pm–8pm | Fully employed | Van + insurance provided
Looking for a driving job that doesn’t treat you like a number? Want guaranteed hours, a company van (no sneaky “you’re self-employed” contract), and a team that actually cares? You might be our kind of person.
We’re a busy laundry and dry cleaning service with a growing customer base. People need clean clothes when they get home from work. That’s why our delivery window is 12pm to 8pm Tuesday to Saturday. It’s not your usual 9–5, but it means you skip the morning rush and still get your evenings free-ish.
This is a mostly driving role (about 65%) with a bit of hands-on support in our factory (around 35%). No day is the same, but here’s how it roughly goes:
A Typical Day
12:00 – 12:10: Preflight checks – make sure your van’s good to go 12:10 – 14:30: Grab a coffee, fold some laundry and chat to the production team about what’s happening. 14:30 - 15:00 paid lunch break! 15:00 - 16:30 lock and load for the 1st run of the day. 16:30 - 16:40 unload the 1st run and reload for the final run. 19:50 - 20:00 unload and lockup.
Flexibility Built In
Sometimes traffic’s rubbish. Sometimes a customer takes 10 minutes to answer the door. We get it. If your day overruns, your start time the next day shifts. We're flexible—because life isn't always punctual.
