Marketing Assistant

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time (2 days per week)
Salary: £28,000 full-time equivalent (£11,196 per annum / £933 per month based on two days per week).
About the Role
We are seeking a creative, organised and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. Working two days per week, you will play an important role in developing and delivering our marketing strategy, increasing brand awareness, promoting our services and supporting business growth.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and has experience across digital marketing, content creation, campaign management and marketing analytics. Key Responsibilities
As our Marketing Assistant, you will:
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote our services and increase brand awareness.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver digital and traditional marketing campaigns across email, social media and advertising platforms.
- Manage and maintain the company website, ensuring all information is accurate, engaging and up to date.
- Create, schedule and manage social media content across multiple platforms to maximise engagement and audience growth.
- Write, edit and proofread high-quality marketing content for websites, brochures, newsletters, social media and promotional materials.
- Design and coordinate brochures and other marketing literature.
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor activity and opportunities for growth.
- Produce monthly marketing reports, campaign analytics and Return on Investment (ROI) statistics for the management team.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Plan, manage and optimise Google Ads and paid social media advertising campaigns.
- Liaise with external marketing providers, including Logix, to coordinate website updates, news articles and promotional content.
- Manage customer feedback campaigns, including issuing surveys, monitoring responses and reporting on findings.
- Manage and maintain the HubSpot CRM system, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Use HubSpot to manage meetings, customer communications and marketing activities.
- Organise, coordinate and host events, exhibitions, webinars and promotional activities.
- Support Royal Mail direct marketing campaigns and other targeted marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the management team to develop new marketing ideas and continuously improve our marketing strategy.
- Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with the company's brand identity.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree or qualification in Marketing, Business or a related subject (desirable).
- At least 1–3 years' experience in a marketing role.
- Marketing experience within the healthcare sector is highly desirable, although applicants with strong marketing experience from other sectors will also be considered.
- Experience managing websites using platforms such as WordPress or Wix.
- Experience creating and managing social media content across multiple platforms.
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads and marketing performance reporting.
- Excellent written communication, copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and produce meaningful reports.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A proactive, creative approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently while contributing positively as part of a wider team.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
