Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior <PERSON> to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for food preparation and service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee food production, ensure food safety standards, and manage a dynamic team within a busy hospitality environment. The Senior <PERSON> will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a positive work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met
Lead and manage kitchen staff, including training, mentoring, and scheduling shifts
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and excellence
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer service
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating culinary trends and customer preferences
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation effectively
Maintain organisation of the kitchen environment, ensuring cleanliness and safety protocols are adhered to
Support the onboarding of new team members and conduct performance reviews

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a food production or hospitality setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in restaurant or catering environments
Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Familiarity with menu development, food presentation, and culinary techniques
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
