Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Part 2 Scaffolder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures, technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. The ideal applicant will have relevant experience in construction-related trades and be committed to delivering high-quality work in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety throughout the duration of the project
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, and masons to ensure seamless workflow
Follow detailed plans and instructions to assemble scaffolding at various heights and configurations
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored safely after use
Assist with site setup and demobilisation as required
Adhere strictly to health and safety standards at all times during operations

Skills

Proven experience in scaffolding, particularly as a Part 2 Scaffolder or similar role
Strong knowledge of construction sites, safety protocols, and scaffolding regulations
Competence in using hand tools and power tools relevant to scaffolding assembly
Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication is advantageous
Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing, and working at heights safely
