Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a Web Design & Development Consultant to support the design, development, testing and optimisation of web based applications across the full SDLC within a FinTech environment. The responsibilities cover full lifecycle development, user centred design and involvement in requirements analysis.

Key responsibilities

Essential skills & experience

Demonstrable experience in web design and/or web development within a commercial or project based environment.
Experience translating business or user requirements into technical solutions.
Experience working with modern web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript or equivalent frameworks).
Experience in testing, debugging and optimisation of web based systems (including system/integration testing).
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Desirable

Experience working with structured testing or automation frameworks.
Experience within FinTech or financial services systems.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and data protection principles.
Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms or version control tools.
