Standard working hours are 8am - 5pm, with out of hour call outs, overtime and night work available.
Role Description
This is a full-time position working in around Bracknell, Guilford, Southampton, Oxford, Reading and sometimes London. The role is Installation and Maintenance and you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of doors, gates, shutters, and entry systems for domestic, commercial, and industrial clients. Daily tasks include site assessments, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting faults, performing installations, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will be required to support an out-of-hours emergency service as part of a 24/7 support team.
Salary dependant upon experience.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Specialist Installation Occupations (Construction) – Door, Gate and Shutter Systems – Installation and Maintenance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, and using tools and equipment effectively
- Experience with commercial, domestic, and industrial projects, including working with automated systems
- Ability to follow safety regulations and deliver high-quality workmanship
- Good communication and problem-solving skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in engineering, mechanics, or a related field
- Flexibility to work in an on-call capacity as part of a 24/7 emergency service team
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within London, south east and surrounding locations
- Prior experience in a similar role or industry is preferred
