A welcoming and supportive primary school in Slough is looking to appoint a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational professionals, or graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a primary school setting.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the primary age range through a combination of classroom support, targeted interventions, and small group work. Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting pupils during lessons across a range of subjects
Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning

Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and engagement within lessons

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a degree with a 2:1 classification or above
Russell Group graduates are encouraged to apply
Have been educated through the UK education system or possess a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable
Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
