Fletchers Engineering is an Engineering Company based in Manchester with a satellite office in Guildford. We service a large range of high end clients throughout the UK.

Our clients include a variety of care homes, David Lloyd Gyms, Odeon Cinema's, Living Venture Restaurants, Hilton Hotels, to name but a few and our client base is spread across the UK including Scotland & Ireland.

We are looking to recruit a fulltime, permanent & experienced Service & Maintenance Office Co-Ordinator to join our service team

Full job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated & exprienced office administator within the Construction / HVAC industry to join our team based in Guildford

This is an office-based role, The successful candidate will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a remote team, with some technical knowledge of equipment faults and breakdowns with commercial refrigeration and commercial gas appliances

A proactive, hardworking attitude and a strong customer focus are essential, along with a solid understanding of safe working practices.

Key Requirements:

· knowledge of equipment breakdowns and fault diagnosis

· Ability to work effectively both independently and within a remote team

· Hardworking, reliable, and customer-focused approach

· Good understanding of safe working procedures

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate a thorough understanding of industry standards, products, and company services

· Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and legislation within the service function

· Provide technical support via phone and email, resolving service-related queries

· Act as the key technical liaison between customers and internal teams

· Attend site visits to diagnose and repair equipment faults where required

· Test and assess returned units and spare parts

· Carry out equipment conversions as needed

· Support general administrative tasks and maintain accurate service records using internal systems

· Work closely with engineering teams to address quality and development feedback

· Escalate customer or subcontractor issues appropriately to management

· Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the service department

What’s on Offer:

The position is based on a competitive basic salary (dependent on experience) as well as the following:

. 40 hours per week

. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing with time served

· Monday–Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm

· Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience
