Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of parts to our customers and internal departments. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities.

43 hours per week

Responsibilities

Safely drive a van or other delivery vehicle to transport parts to designated locations.
Load and unload parts, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups, including any necessary documentation.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of parts.

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading tasks.
Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential.
