Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for welding, assembling, and fabricating metal components to create high-quality products. This position requires proficiency in sheet metal work, basic math skills, and mechanical knowledge.
Duties:
- Perform welding tasks using Mig welding techniques
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces using measuring tools
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using power tools and hand tools
- Assemble fabricated metal parts to create finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in sheet metal work
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment and machinery
- Experience with stick welding techniques
- Ability to weld, assemble, and fabricate metal components
- Familiarity with power tools used in metal fabrication
- Proficiency in using hand tools
