We are a friendly, independent pharmacy and part of a group of 19 community pharmacies.
We are looking for a full-time/Part-time Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join our team at Wepre Pharmacy. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys community pharmacy, is confident delivering Welsh services and prescribing-led services, and wants to make a real difference to patients in the local area.
The pharmacy already has well established Welsh pharmacy services and prescribing-led services in place. We are looking for someone who can continue delivering these to a high standard, support the team, and provide excellent patient care.
The Role
You will be involved in the day to day running of the pharmacy, supporting the team and making sure patients receive a friendly, professional and efficient service.
As an Independent Prescriber, you will also be involved in delivering Welsh pharmacy services, clinical consultations and prescribing-led services where your prescribing qualification can add real value to patient care.
The pharmacy is modern, well set up and benefits from a dispensing robot, helping the team work efficiently and allowing more focus on patient care and clinical services.

Confident and approachable
A qualified Independent Prescriber
Welsh services trained
Registered with the GPhC
Comfortable leading and supporting a pharmacy team
Passionate about patient care
Experienced in delivering Welsh pharmacy services and prescribing-led services

Monday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Tuesday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Wednesday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Thursday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Friday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Saturday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Sunday, Closed
About You
You will be someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a community pharmacy team. You should be confident speaking with patients, working with local healthcare professionals and supporting colleagues in the branch.
We will provide ongoing support and training to help you settle into the role and continue delivering Welsh services and prescribing-led services confidently.
Selection Process
We will initially contact suitable applicants for a telephone screening call, followed by a video or in person interview. Interviews can often be arranged during evenings or weekends where needed.
