Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment. This role involves supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, and contributing to their development through engaging activities.

Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and encouraging positive interactions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery environment.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and personal hygiene.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a stimulating atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children is essential; nursery experience is highly desirable.
A background in early childhood education or childcare qualifications would be an advantage.
Strong management and leadership skills to effectively guide children in their activities.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A valid driving licence may be required for transportation purposes related to nursery activities.
