Main function of the job:
Organising the movement of freight across Europe and the UK.
Communicating accurately in written and verbal form complex instructions to both Customers and Suppliers.
Negotiating with both Customers and Suppliers to achieve most cost-effective solution.
Providing the highest standards of Customer service.
Processing Customer orders through use of Sealane Freight’s own “in-house” operating system with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Compiling customs documentation to facilitate shipment of our client’s freight into and from Europe.
Building very strong relationships with our clients, principally through verbal engagement.
Communicating with colleagues in different departments to ensure internal procedures are followed correctly.
Working environment:
New modern 9000 sq ft office in St Albans.

Skills and experience required:
The successful candidate must have
- Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
- A professional, positive and helpful attitude.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate directly with clients and suppliers and identify and exploit opportunities to increase both turnover and more importantly profit.
- Presentable, energetic and enthusiastic.
- Strong organisational skills with an excellent memory.
Pay: £40,000.00 per year
