Kickstart Your Career in Metal Fabrication! – Apprentice Opportunity at Solinear Ltd

Are you hands-on, creative, and looking to learn while you earn? Solinear Ltd is on the lookout for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Metal Fabricator to join our team – while completing the Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship at York College.

Location: Sherrif Hutton, York
Start Date: 31/08/2026
Salary: Apprentice wage (with progression)
Training Provider: York College – one day a week

What’s the Job?

You’ll work with our expert team to learn the ins and outs of metal fabrication – creating high-quality architectural products like solar shadding, louvres, and secondary structors. You’ll learn how to:

Read and work from technical drawings
Cut, shape, and weld metal
Use machinery and hand tools safely and confidently
Build real products that go to real buildings across the UK!
