CNC Machinist

Preci-Spark is looking to recruit 5 axis CNC Machinists to join our existing team of engineers in our Coalville Facility to support the production of low volume, high value parts. The role will primarily involve setting and operating CNC machines.
What we offer for the position of CNC Machinist:
- £16.00 to £20.00 per hour (depending on experience, and skill level).
- Monthly productivity bonus.
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
- Rotating Shifts (37 hours): Mon to Weds 6.00am to 2.00pm – 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Thurs 6.00am to 1.00pm – 1.00pm to 8.00pm, Fri 6.00am to 12.00pm – 12.00pm to 06.00pm

Requirements for the position of the CNC Machinist:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a CNC setter/operator/programmer.
- 5 Axis - CNC Machining experience necessary.
- Programming in ISO/ Fanuc/Mazatrol
- Previous experience on multi axis machining centres.
- Aerospace industry experience would be an advantage.
- Capable of reading technical drawings.
- Experienced at working to close tolerances.
- Health, safety and environment compliance.

Role of CNC Machinist includes:
- Setting, operating and programming multi-axis machining centres.
- Highly complex multi-tool set ups.
- Accurately setting jigs, fixtures and tools.
- Running project based, high value components.
- Manual checks of components using standard measuring equipment.
- Compliance to all technical documentation.
