About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Stores & Logistics Coordinator to manage our PWS stock and inventory operations based in our Measham office.
This is a pivotal role requiring a proactive individual who is equally comfortable organising a physical warehouse environment whilst managing stock records via PC and speaking with suppliers, technicians and clients.
You will report directly to the Head of Engineering whilst collaborating daily with our administrative and purchasing teams to ensure seamless invoicing, scheduling, and stock alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock & Inventory Management: Oversee all inbound and outbound PWS stock movements. Ensure stock levels are accurately maintained and organised correctly.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the arrival and dispatch of goods, ensuring materials are ready for scheduled works and stock is replenished.
- Health, Safety & Quality (HS&Q): Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment in line with company safety and quality policies/procedures.
- Administration & Tech: Use PC systems to log stock movements and communicate updates to the scheduling team whilst maintaining good attention to detail.
- Communication: Handle telephone enquiries professionally, dealing with clients, suppliers and internal teams with a confident and helpful manner.
What We Are Looking For:
- The Right Attitude: A practical, organised, and "can-do" approach to physical stores management.
- IT Skills: Proficient computer literacy (MS Office products such as Outlook and Word).
- Great Communicator: Excellent telephone manner and a collaborative team spirit.
- HS&Q Awareness: A strong understanding of the importance of workplace health, safety and quality.
- Forklift Licence: A current licence is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary (circa £30k pro-rata).
- Desirable working hours (9am – 3pm Monday - Friday) with an earlier finish on Fridays.
