Apprentice Network Cable Installer

As we continue to grow, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join us as an Apprentice Network Cable Installer, with a clear progression path into a Structured Cable Engineer role.
The Apprenticeship
As an Apprentice Network Cable Installer, you will receive:
- Hands-on training alongside experienced engineers
- Block-release training towards the Network Cable Installer Standard
- A structured development plan with progression into a permanent engineer role
What You’ll Learn
- Installation and testing of copper and fibre cabling
- Reading and working from detailed drawings and project plans
- Installing and configuring network equipment
- Working safely, professionally, and efficiently on live sites
What We’re Looking For
- Achieved Level 2 Electrical Installation
- Positive attitude and strong desire to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Your Career Path
On completion of the apprenticeship, you’ll progress into a Structured Cable Engineer role, working on:
- Indoor DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems)
- Structured cabling (Fibre, Cat6 / Cat6A)
- RF equipment installation and testing
- Antenna and feeder installations
You’ll gain industry-recognised certifications (CNET CNCI / City & Guilds Level 3) and the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the UK.
What We Offer
- 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (8:00am–4:30pm)
- 20 days holiday (increasing with length of service) + 8 bank holidays
