Company Overview

Haydens is a vibrant and busy coffee shop and restaurant that prides itself on serving local fresh and home-made meals. Our luxury bed and breakfast complements our culinary offerings, creating a unique experience for our guests.

Summary

Cook food items to order, ensuring quality and presentation standards for bed and breakfast and restaurant guests alike.

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Stay on top of ordering supplies and paperwork.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill area and kitchen equipment.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients needed and report shortages.

Requirements

Proven experience as a grill cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
A good team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
