Salary: £30,000–£38,000 per year (depending on experience) + Overtime + Company Vehicle

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Builder / Multi-Skilled Operative to join our expanding team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be carrying out a wide range of building, maintenance and repair works across commercial and industrial sites throughout the UK.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in delivering a high standard and is happy turning their hand to a variety of tasks. If you’re the type of person who enjoys solving problems and getting stuck in, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you’ll support a range of projects and reactive works, including:
- General building repairs and maintenance.
- Basic brickwork, blockwork and concreting.
- Joinery and carpentry repairs.
- Basic plumbing and drainage repairs.
- Painting, decorating and finishing works.
- Fencing, gates and external repairs.
- Groundworks and landscaping.
- Installing signs, barriers, bollards and site furniture.
- Minor roofing and guttering repairs.
- Assisting with installation projects across multiple trades.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment.
Every day is different, so we’re looking for someone who is adaptable and happy to take on a variety of tasks.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in general building, property maintenance or a multi-trade role.
- Good practical skills across a range of trades.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away when required.
The following would be an advantage but are not essential:
- CSCS Card.
- IPAF or PASMA.
- Telehandler, forklift or plant tickets.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial sites.
- Basic electrical or plumbing knowledge.
