Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious marketing enthusiast to gain real, hands-on experience in hospitality marketing. You will have creative freedom to build and manage our social media presence and help drive footfall through engaging, timely content. This role is ideal for someone studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field — though passion and creativity matter more than qualifications

Duties:

Content & Social Media

Plan and manage a monthly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Create and post reels, stories and captions that drive reach and engagement
Monitor comments and messages, keeping our community active and responsive
Track post performance and report key insights weekly

Event Promotion

Design digital and in-venue promotional content for weekly themed nights
Cover live events in real time through stories and posts
Research local festivals, holidays and student calendars to plan content ahead

Brand & Creative

Keep a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
Suggest and create campaigns around key dates, offers and new menu launches
Keep the Google Business profile and listings up to date

Growth & Outreach

Engage with local influencers, food bloggers and Leicester student communities
Spot partnership and collaboration opportunities to grow our reach
Help build The Woolpack's reputation as a go-to Leicester venue

What We Are Looking For

A passion for social media, content creation and marketing
Creative eye for photography, video, reels and written content
Self-motivated with strong initiative and ability to work independently
Good knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Media, Communications or similar — preferred but not essential
Reliable, enthusiastic and a natural team player
