Job Overview
We offer weekly pay for self employed Door Supervisors paid the following Friday of the working week. This role is for every Saturday night around 22:15-03:15 at the Circle, Lincoln. . There will be more shifts/events to choose from if you wish, which include more events at the same venue and other venues via our scheduling/shift app. We cover numerous venues and retail sites.
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and providing assistance in emergency situations. All applicants will be paid for their work and must demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage entry and exit points, verifying identification and authorisation of visitors and staff
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity within the premises
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, ensuring safety for all individuals present
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, following established protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with security team or management
- Enforce rules and regulations courteously but firmly to uphold the safety standards of the venue
- Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of CCTV operation, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response procedures is advantageous
- First aid certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills with an ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance are essential for representing the organisation effectively
