We’re seeking a Picker Packers to join our team on a monthly rolling, fixed term contract.
What You’ll Do
This role involves picking, order packing, and general warehouse duties, including manual handling and maintaining a tidy work environment.
Candidates should be physically fit, as the role is hands-on and physically demanding.
You will also use computerised warehouse management and scanner systems, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking and packing items for orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers.
- Picking and packing of goods, utilising hand-held scanners. Ensuring accuracy in items and quantities and that orders are neatly and securely packaged for shipment
- Quality control items to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stock replenishment and rotation
- Identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies or shortages
- Stock taking
What You’ll Bring
- The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as a picker/packer or similar role in a warehouse or distribution centre is preferred, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical duties as required
- Basic computer skills for entering data
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Hard working, reliable with the ability to show initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekend shifts
