Summary
We are looking for a talented and pragmatic developer to join our IT development team in Lancaster City Centre.
This role will involve supporting and enhancing our existing systems while also contributing to the development of modern solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The successful candidate will work across integrations, APIs, and business systems, helping to bridge the gap between legacy and modern technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain existing systems built in C# and SQL Server
- Develop and maintain APIs and integration services (REST / Webhooks)
- Support and develop Azure Functions and integration logic
- Build and enhance solutions within Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps / Power Automate)
- Develop reporting and dashboards using Power BI
- Assist in implementing AI-driven solutions where applicable (e.g. AI Builder, Copilot)
- Investigate and resolve bugs across multiple systems
- Contribute to ongoing system improvements and future development
Experience
The ideal candidate must have the following
- 2+ years coding experience
- Strong C# (.NET Framework / .NET Core) experience
- Strong SQL Server knowledge
- Experience working with APIs (REST services, integrations)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with JavaScript / HTML / CSS
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Experience using source control tools (Git)
- Experience with Visual Studio or similar development tools
Ideally but not essential
- Experience with Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, integrations)
- Experience with Power BI (data modelling, reporting, dashboards)
- ·Experience with AI capabilities within Power Platform (AI Builder / Copilot)
- Experience working with legacy systems (ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC, or Classic ASP)
- Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular / React)
- Understanding of architectural patterns and best practices

Salary Range £35,000.00 - £60,000.00 D.O.E
Working Hours Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Pay: £35,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
