EcoGreen Movers is a fast-growing startup disrupting the removals industry. We believe that outstanding customer experience, professionalism, and a strong social media presence matter just as much as moving furniture safely.
We are looking for a Van Buddy / Removal Porter to join our team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that perfectly combines traditional removals work with a modern twist: content creation. If you bring great energy, work hard, and don't mind the spotlight, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Removals & Logistics
- Assisting the driver with efficient loading, securing, and unloading of vans.
- Moving household and office furniture safely (primarily residential moves).
- Protecting customer belongings using specialist covers, wrapping, and careful handling techniques.
- Representing the EcoGreen brand professionally and politely on-site at all times.
Content Creation & Social Media
- Being comfortable appearing on camera is a must.
- Helping film day-to-day behind-the-scenes removals content.
- Participating in short video introductions, voiceovers, or team transitions.
- Supporting our social media growth by showcasing our teamwork, daily journey, and positive workplace culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Physically fit and fully capable of heavy manual handling.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong, positive work ethic.
- Comfortable being filmed and interacting naturally on camera.
- Adaptable, punctual, and highly reliable.
- Professional, customer-focused, and happy to travel across the UK when required.
Bonus Points If:
- You have previous experience as a removalist or van porter.
- You have content creation experience (especially on TikTok or Instagram).
- You bring great energy, enjoy music on the job, and love working in a lively team environment.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Removals / Portering: 1–2 years (Preferred).
- Commute: Must be able to reliably commute to Manchester (M22 area) or plan to relocate before starting work.
- Application Question: Are you completely comfortable being on camera and featured regularly in social media content? (Required)
Pay: £80.00-£130.00 per day
