Job Summary
At Quex Adventure Farm Park, we are all about creating fun experiences and lifetime memories for our customers. We are looking for a reliable and organised Finance and Admin Assistant to support our finance and office administration functions across our attractions.
This is a varied role suited to someone who is confident with numbers, has good attention to detail, and enjoys keeping things organised. The role will involve day-to-day bookkeeping, finance admin, and general office support.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
- Raising sales invoices and sending customer statements
- Credit control and chasing outstanding payments
- Reconciling bank accounts, card payments, PayPal/online payments, and takings
- Maintaining accurate records in Xero
- Uploading and managing receipts, invoices, and paperwork
- Assisting with payroll information and staff records
- Supporting VAT return preparation
- Producing basic finance reports when required
- General admin duties, filing, emails, and office support
- Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal team members
- Managing multiple booking software platforms
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in bookkeeping, accounts admin, or finance support
- Confident using Xero, Excel, and general office systems
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage their own workload
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
- Comfortable working in a busy, varied environment
- Friendly, flexible, and willing to support the wider team when needed
Experience Required
Previous bookkeeping or finance admin experience is essential. Experience using Xero would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person.
