Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest services and maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your expertise in nail care, alongside additional skills such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and deep tissue massage, to enhance our clients’ overall experience. A strong background in management, social media management, and upselling will be advantageous for those looking to grow within our dynamic environment.

Duties

Provide professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and specialised treatments.
Perform specialised services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required.
Deliver excellent guest services by understanding client needs and offering personalised recommendations.
Maintain a clean, organised work station adhering to health and safety standards.
Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and payment processing.
Utilise social media platforms to promote services, share updates, and engage with clients effectively.
Upsell additional treatments or retail products to maximise client satisfaction and revenue.
Assist with management tasks when necessary, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the salon or spa.
Support other team members with guest services such as deep tissue massage or barbering services if qualified.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Qualifications in nail technology recognised by relevant industry bodies.
Additional skills in eyelash extensions, makeup application, deep tissue massage, or barbering are highly desirable.
Strong management skills with the ability to oversee appointments and client flow efficiently.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Proficiency in social media management to promote services and engage with clients online.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to work well within a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
Organised with good time-management skills to handle multiple appointments effectively. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented Nail Technician eager to advance their career within a welcoming environment that values creativity, professionalism, and excellent service delivery.
