About The Role

We are recruiting for a Machine Operative at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This is a permanent, weekly-paid position, providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (07:00 - 19:30).
Hourly Rate: £13.70 (paid weekly).

As an AMFRESH Machine Operative, you will:

Operate machinery safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Complete product changeovers, including loading new packaging materials.
Set, monitor, and optimise machine performance to hit targets.
Report downtime, changeovers, and operational issues to the Line Leader.
Support production line performance to meet daily customer orders.

About You

To be a successful Machine Operative, the qualities we are looking for are:

Experience in technical, engineering, or machinery (preferred).
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Target-driven with experience meeting goals.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
