Overview
Our holiday park is based in Church Laneham Retford,

You will be assisting with day to day running of the office, billing customers, taking payments, and ordering.

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Receptionist/Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine front-of-house responsibilities with creative engagement across our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a flair for public relations, and experience in social media management. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to develop their professional skills whilst representing our organisation positively and effectively.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries efficiently, directing them to the appropriate departments.
Maintain the organisation’s social media accounts by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and monitoring interactions.
Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various platforms.
Assist with organising events or promotional activities as required.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records related to public relations activities.
Support the team with general office duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in social media management and public relations is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in British English.
Organised with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, approachable manner with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and familiarity with content scheduling tools.
Basic knowledge of graphic design or content creation tools is a plus.
Reliable with a professional attitude; previous reception or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential. This position offers an excellent platform for individuals passionate about communication, digital marketing, and organisational support to grow their career within a supportive environment.

Pay: From £21,800.00 per year
