Purpose of the role
To generate qualified energy audits — predominantly LED lighting and Solar PV — with UK commercial prospects that match CEMA's ideal client profile, by means of outbound telephone activity, against the reactivation of CEMA's circa one thousand existing client database and a structured cold prospecting effort.

About you and the role
· You will effectively and efficiently work to secure appointments for our Business Development Managers in line with corporate targets. As the first point of contact with potential customers, you play a key role in representing CEMA, understanding customer needs and driving new business opportunities
· Manage all data and records to effectively achieve the targeted data/appointment conversion as required by the business
· Identify opportunities and book appointments for the sales force with an emphasis on high-quality leads, cold and warm
· Full-time, permanent position
· Working Monday to Friday
· This role is office based.

- Resilience. The math of telesales means more rejections than wins, every day.
- Curiosity about how a customer's business actually works.
- Coachability. We will iterate scripts, objection handlers and approach constantly — that only works if the agent leans in.
- Self-discipline. Working from a structured plan, not on instinct.
- Basic commercial literacy — the agent does not need to be an engineer but does need to understand energy spend, payback and the value proposition.
